Greetings post stroke. Yep, August 13th around midnight, while kicking back relaxing and watching videos with my sweetheart, my eyes started going in different directions, as reported by my partner, I just said "I can't see!" she looked at me and that's what she saw...and it was a stroke in my right hemisphere...very weird! no fun, but such is life, and it could have been a lot worse! So, I'm very grateful still!!!
Thought it might be useful for my recovery and documentation of what's occurring now to come out here and try to write a bit...typing remains a challenge, although it is improving a lot. I learned that I was letting my left hand rest on the keyboard too much, causing all the caps...and now, I'm holding it up, as one should for proper typing...fingers on left hand screw up a lot more than the fingers on my right hand do...
Today I've communicated some with high school friends re: reunion October 16th...
Don't quite know how I'll manage that but, will try; should be lots of fun!
